Infectious Bursal Disease

Infectious Bursal Disease (IBD) is a highly contagious disease affecting young chickens. Infectious Bursal Disease virus (IBDV) is an avibirnavirus that is very resistant and difficult to eradicate from infected environments. IBDV primarily targets lymphoid tissue, especially the bursa of Fabricius, causing immunosuppression, mortality and secondary infections.

ProFLOK® IBD Ab

Species: Chicken | Sample Type: Serum | Test Time: Less than 2 hours

The ProFLOK® IBD Ab infectious bursal disease antibody test kit is a rapid serologic enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the detection of IBD, or Gumboro disease, antibody in chicken serum samples. This kit was developed primarily to aid in measuring pre- and post-vaccination IBD antibody levels (titer) in chickens.

ProFLOK® IBD BDA Ab / ProFLOK® IBD Plus

Species: Chicken | Sample Type: Serum | Test Time: Less than 2 hours

The ProFLOK® IBD BDA Ab / ProFLOK® IBD Plus infectious bursal disease antibody test kit is a rapid serologic enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the detection of IBD, or Gumboro disease, antibody in chicken serum samples using bursal-derived antigen (BDA). This kit was developed primarily to aid in measuring pre- and post-vaccination IBD antibody levels (titer) in chickens. This kit has excellent correlation with virus neutralization assay and is used for detection of antibody response to recombinant VP2 vector vaccines.1
