Infectious Bronchitis

Avian Infectious Bronchitis is a highly contagious respiratory disease occurring in chickens caused by infectious bronchitis virus (IBV). Clinical symptoms often include respiratory signs (in young chickens), reduced weight gain, nephrosis, loss of egg production and egg quality (in layers). The virus can also cause damage to the kidneys and oviducts.

The ProFLOK® IBV Ab infectious bronchitis virus antibody test kit is a rapid serologic enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the detection of IBV antibody in chicken serum samples. It is designed to aid in the detection of pre- and post-vaccination IBV antibody levels (titer) in chickens.
